If you love to sing but would like more confidence and more understanding of how your voice works, having some one-to-one lessons is indispensable. Everyone's voice works differently and it's almost impossible to effectively learn technique in a group setting. Singing tutors can help you learn to sing a particular song that you love, and help you understand more about singing and your voice in general so that you can apply that knowledge to any music you want to sing. The way your voice produces sound can be made stronger-your vocal chords can develop more strength, your diaphragm can develop more stamina, and you can learn to control your voice. If you don't like how you sound but you'd love to sing, it can be very transformative having some singing lessons. All those people who stand up on The Voice and BGT in the finals didn't start out with that vocal power and control – they had support in developing it.
