Marlon started playing guitar at the age of 8 and soon after joined other bands and started to gig on a regular basis.

However it wasn’t until years later, when he started studying for a higher diploma in music performance which consequently led to a degree in the same subject, where he refined his technique and style to the deep, dynamic and powerful sound he is best known for today.

His interest in Jazz coupled with the love of melody and acoustic guitar resulted in him providing the perfect background music for weddings, restaurants and various functions.

While studying music he started his own private guitar teaching practice in Chelsea London, that continues to this day. After a few years of teaching, Marlon started to write online articles and lessons for various tuition websites.

Philosophy, Style and Expertise :

He believes the best way to impart information is by giving a little and through good use of questions and examples, let the student figure out a specific technique or piece. That way it will make a deeper impression on the mind and he/she will be more likely to remember it. He specialises in doing grades with the students as well learning popular songs and techniques related to Jazz/Blues and Rock.
